The Metal Finishers Association of Southern California (MFASC) has announced Mr. Jerry Wahlin as recipient of the Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
The award, presented during the West Coast Finishers 2013 Fall Outing in Rancho Palo Verdes, California, honors individuals who have “made a difference” in the association and the metal finishing industry’s success by provided outstanding service over a sustained period of years to MFASC and to the metal finishing community.
Mr. Wahlin is president of AAA Plating and Inspection, Inc., located in Compton, California, a company that has earned a successful 50 year history in metal plating for the aerospace industry. He has, and continues to remain active on both a local and national level serving as an officer on both the National Association for Surface Finishing (NASF) and the MFASC. In addition to these board appointments, Mr. Wahlin has also served on the Nadcap Management Council.
Previous to receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, Mr. Wahlin was awarded the Silvio Taormina Award by the NASF. The Taormina Award recognizes individuals who have performed superior service to the industrial finishing industry on a national level.
